Care for your hairpiece

Our wide range of hairpieces are fuss free and easily maintained in 5 simple steps.

1. Simply brush out any knots, tangles that may be in the hairpiece.
2. Fill a basin with tepid water and shampoo. Very gently agitate the hairpiece back and forward in the solution.
3. Rinse clear with tepid water, (note: do not scrub hairpiece!).
4. Pat dry, gently, with a towel to remove excess water.
5. Place in a style usually worn, away from direct heat or electrical appliances and leave to dry.

Care for your hair and scalp

Before treatment:
Use moisturising shampoo to wash your hair and scalp. Both hair and scalp must be washed with a moisturising shampoo to help prevent drying of the scalp.

Daily treatment:
Your scalp may become tender prior to hair loss which unfortunately cannot be prevented. The scalp can also become itchy and flaky during treatment, so daily application of baby oil/olive oil should be applied going to bed and shampoo the following morning.

After treatment:
Hair can grow back rapidly. Regrowth can occur 2-3 weeks after your last treatment. Your hair can change in texture and colour. Please do not use harsh permanent colour. Bankz offer a full range of Schwarzkopf Essensity Organic Products. It is much easier on the scalp and hair.
